Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

May 25: ‘Sperm-seed’ of God

“Because you have had a new birth, not from the seed of man, but from eternal seed, through the word of a living and unchanging God.” I Peter 1:23(BBE)

Read: Matthew 13:31-32; Luke 8:11-18; Psalms 12:6, 7

The reason a mustard seed eventually becomes a massive tree is because that tiny seed was programmed to become a massive tree. The average person looks at a seed as a seed. Anytime we pick up a seed, look beyond the smallness into the great potential within it. This is exactly how the word of God is. It is a seed. Not a mere seed but a potent, spiritual seed. If it ever gains access into a heart made fertile by faith, the possibilities are endless. A great God can only produce a seed with greatness. This is why when Mary received the word sent to her through Gabriel, she incubated and delivered THE son of God. We must get into the habit of continuously receiving this ‘sperm seed of God’ so that every area of our lives might develop into greatness.
