Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

March 12: Come On Up Higher

“I cannot find God anywhere?God is always at work, though I never see Him?” Job 23:8, 9(MSG)

Read: Genesis 31:6-13; Ephesians 1:20-2: 7

When we become covenant children of God, He takes us up to realms that we have never experienced. In fact, the Bible tells us that, positionally, we are seated with God far above all principalities and powers and we have dominion over them. So regardless of where you have been, you need to locate yourself right where God is. That is why you need to have an encounter with Him. Before Jacob?s Divine encounter, he was as low as low could be. The only way he knew was his own deceptive scheming way. But God challenged him to lay down his tricks and make room for the supernatural in his life. You see our own ways, as smart as they seem to us, are very low and limited. God says, as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are his ways higher than ours. So we need to re-locate and step up higher to the Heavenly realm where He operates. Truly, child of God, He has a far better way to achieve what you have been struggling to achieve in your life. He can fix that family or financial situation in ways you never dreamed of. He has it all figured out and wants to show you if you will let Him. Can you imagine how much pain Jacob endured in his uncle?s house? And he still would have left with nothing if he stuck with his ways. But when he let God have His way, he became enriched and prosperous. The key was in stepping up higher. What do you need God to do for you today? He has a way to make it happen. And it?s different from your own way. His ways are revealed in His Word by His Spirit. That is why you need to step up higher in your commitment to reading and meditating in the Word of God, and in your intimacy with the Holy Spirit. So step up higher today and let God be God in your life. You will never be the same again, in Jesus? name. Amen.
