Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

January 19: You Can Have a New beginning

Then Elisha went to the spring of the waters and cast the salt in it and said, Thus says the Lord: I [not the salt] have healed these waters; there shall not be any more death, miscarriage or barrenness [and bereavement] because of it II Kings 2:21

God wants to open new doors of opportunity to you and give you a new beginning. He wants to help you move past the setbacks and missed opportunities of your past. Regardless of what experiences you have had, and what disappointments you may have experienced, the Bible says God is faithful, and He wants to help you move toward your set goals and objectives by creating the favorable circumstances you need. You may think your situation is beyond redemption, but I want you to know there is nothing the power of God cannot do! Remember that your situation will not be the first He’s had to turn around. In fact, He specializes in turning hopeless situations around. If you don’t believe me, then ask Moses or Daniel or Nehemiah, or the woman with the issue of blood in the New Testament. The setbacks you’ve suffered in life may be a result of your own failures, mistakes, or wrong choices. Or they may be because of what others did to you. But it really doesn’t matter. I believe God is turning it around! He’s making the lines fall for you in pleasant places (Psalms 16:6). Lay hold of your new beginning today.
