Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

November 17: Where the Spirit Leads

“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.” -Psalms 143:10

Read: Proverbs 14:18; Ephesians 2:10

The paths of God are already crowned with abundance, fatness; Crowned with wisdom, knowledge, goodness, loving-kindness, and tender mercies; with glory and honour. As wonderful as this may be, the abundance are on HIS paths. God’s ways are not our ways. He does not think like we do. His thoughts and ways are not just different from ours, they are higher. And if we are wise, those are the paths we will walk in. Our humanly devised ways can never bring us to the glory and honour God intended for us. Listen to the amazing rendering of Ephesians 2:10 in the Amplified Bible, “We are God’s own handiwork …recreated that we may do those good works which God planned beforehand…taking paths…..living the good life….which God prearranged…..” I am so excited that many years ago, I discovered God’s good paths for my life through the help of the Holy Spirit. I see you doing the same today in Jesus Name. Amen. Determine to always ask Him for direction before you venture out on anything this year. This year spend more time with Him; less time with less important things e.g. time spent chatting on the phone, watching TV. Considering that your glorious destiny is tied to His direct leading, time in His presence would be time worth spending. Let the Holy Spirit guide you into those glorious paths.
