Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

March 3: God Has More For Me

Ho! Everyone who thirsts, comeIsaiah 55:1

Read: Isaiah 55:1-13

Have you ever felt like you were stuck in a rut somewhere, even though there were indications all around you that suggested God had more for you? Maybe you feel that even now. Well, I want you to know that you don’t have to remain in that rut. I believe this is your day for ‘forceful progress’ in Jesus’ Name. But you need to understand that the onus is on you, not on God, to effect the change you desire. And it begins with a simple dissatisfaction with where you are right now. There are many realms of God that most of us have not yet experienced. That is why God puts passion, desires, hunger and dissatisfaction in our hearts. Are you dissatisfied with where you are today? That is not always a bad thing. Matter of fact, I am very concerned for people who don’t feel a strong urge to press forward in life. Complacency in any area of your life is not a blessing. The Bible actually says, “Woe be to them who are at ease in Zion”. That means it is a curse to be complacent at any level. There’s more for us in God. Can you say that with me today? “God has more for me!” Say it over and over until you actually begin to believe it. David was one of the most blessed in his generation. He was so hungry for God, he chose to stay awake many times just to seek Him. Jesus did the same. When you press into God aggressively, “hungrily”, Heaven opens up for you and all manner of blessings seek entrance into your life. The best of life really begins with the best of God. So press into Him today. Your life will never be the same, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
