Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

January 9: Created for Habitual Fellowship

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. John 4:23

Read:  John 4:14-26

Man was created to live in habitual fellowship with his Creator. I believe that the emptiness felt by most human beings in their lives is due to the fact that the essence of our existence is missing. We may have everything else going for us and still feel this emptiness, because God alone has the ability to fill that void. In Genesis 3:8, Adam and Eve heard the voice of the Lord walking in the Garden of Eden, and they both hid themselves from God’s presence. Even though sin was responsible for the feeling of guilt and condemnation that they experienced, being ‘busy’ is one of the most important reasons most believers are shut out of God’s presence today. Beloved, would you recognize the voice of God when He speaks with you? Most people will not, because they are not familiar with that voice. I encourage you to make time to practice God’s presence today. Sit still, read the Word, pray in the Spirit, and meditate on God and His Word. The more you do this, the more fulfilled your life experience becomes.
