Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

December 17: Fruitfulness is God’s Mandate

“Herein is my Father glorified that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” – John 15:8

Read: Genesis 26:12-25

The plan of God for every covenant child of His is fruitfulness. To go empty is to have no fruit to show in an endeavor to which we are committed. We need to refuse Satan’s counterfeit agenda and insist on enjoying God’s divine provision for our lives. From the very beginning, God gave Adam seed and commanded him to be fruitful. Then He demonstrated through the lives of the patriarchs such as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that regardless of what was going on around them, He wanted them to bear fruits. In a time of severe economic hardship, Joseph had more than enough to share with his people and others who were needy. Isaac sowed in a time of famine and reaped a hundredfold harvest. Child of God, your case will not be different! I see you with plenty. I see you with a large harvest. I see you blessed on every side. Wherever you are today and whatever your endeavors, I want you to claim fruitfulness. Say, ‘I refuse to go out empty from my job, marriage, career, business, etc.’ You are making it in Jesus’ name. Amen.
