Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

August 26: Superiority Complex

“And he shall set the sheep on his right hand…then shall the King say unto them …Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” Matthew 25:33-34

Read: Genesis 48:8-20; Matthew 25:33 –34; Ephesians 1:3

Many of us became familiar with the term ‘inferiority complex’ while growing up or in school. It was used to describe the situation in people who always responded from a position of inferiority or who obviously displayed that mindset in the things they did. As Christians however, we should not have an inferiority complex. We should have an attitude of superiority in all we do. The Bible says we are the head, not the tail. We should be excelling in life because of God’s covenant of honor which is in place in our lives. The right hand of God is a position of superiority. It is unfortunate that many believers have no idea of the value that God places on us his children. It is a place of preferred seating. There is a seat marked ‘RESERVED’ with your name on it. It has nothing to do with our status in life. It is already earmarked as a place of honor. It is a place where God releases our inheritance into our hands; a place of scheduled blessings. From today see yourself as a prized and treasured child of the Most High with access to everything He planned for you. Never ever feel inferior again. Your superiority is guaranteed anywhere you go in Jesus Name. Amen.
